Fairness is the fundamental issue preventing dealers from achieving succession success. We all want to treat our children fairly, but what does this mean in regard to estate plans and dealership succession? This workshop uses real-life stories to explore choices and consequences in issues such as training family members versus entitlement; when and how to transfer stock; how to utilize managers in the succession process; and dealing with family members' expectations.
